Variation(s) est la première monographie de l’artiste connu sous le nom de L’Outsider. Ébéniste de formation, son travail se caractérise par la patience, la rigueur et la minutie, combinée de façon opposée à la liberté et à l’urgence due la pratique du graffiti. Depuis près de dix ans, l’artiste développe dans sa Bretagne natale une peinture abstraite radicale et noir et blanc qui porte en elle toutes les contradictions de l’artiste et de l’homme.

Variation(s) is the artist’s first monograph known as L'Outsider. Cabinetmaker by training, his work is characterized by patience, rigor and thoroughness, combined in an opposite way with the freedom and urgency due to the practice of graffiti. For nearly ten years, the artist has been developing in his native Brittany a radical abstract black and white painting that carries all the contradictions of the artist and man.
